Introductions! Just get into class, and align yourselves. The first person to post after Mia will be paired with the third, and the second with the fourth. You can pre-plan your pairings for this if you want but if you do lemme know cause im a curious kitten. I'll detail some exact 'rules' in my second post.
Mia had, admittadly, been struggling for lesson ideas. Combat was one thing for quirkers. Something she'd helped in back at UA from time to time. You got people in a room, pitted them against eachother, robots, or some dummy robot that was geared to the teeth. Physical Education? That was... oddly more challenging, if she wanted to make it a real test. Everyone in the class had different limits and while Mia wanted to highlight everyone's individual talents and traits she knew she still had to be wary of the possibilities for everyone. She couldn't have every class test speed, those who didn't have a quirk in that area would always compare themselves to the people bursting ahead of them who did. Lifting weights? Same issue. Heck even a mobility course she had to try and make sure she had ways to test unique talents. It took a lot more thought and consideration than just 'punch / fire at the other guy till one of you calls uncle'.
Today though? She felt like she had a winner. She couldn't do it for everything but it was fun, required improvisation ontop of people's quirks, with unique rules to limit and circumstances to consider... and, let's be honest, it was still pretty close to a fight so she had that going for her.~
As she waited for the students to arrive, she bounced one of the balls against the ground, her strength enough to get a resounding rubber KLANG to sound through the large room and echo back each time she did. The ball seemed to have a bit more weight to it, the rubber it was made off just a little more dense to withstand some extra power behind the throws while still, otherwise, being pretty much the same, designed more to take more damage itself, than deal more damage to anyone it was thrown in the face of. As the students started to come in, Mia greeted them with one open arm, the other continuing to idly bounce the ball at her feet.
"Welcome! Come one! Come all! You-!" She pointed to the first kid filing in from their last class. "Left wall-" The next kid got the pointer finger. "Right wall-" And so on. "Left wall, Right wall." Any other students would be sent to the bleachers to watch in the audience and they'd have their turn later. "Alright, thank you volunteers for your amazing ability to walk in the door first. As you can see-" She gestured to the line of red balls in the center of the marked room. "We're playing dodgeball today. How about you each get acquainted with your partner, and then we'll go over the rules for today eh?~"
She looked over her examples for the day. She recognized them all well enough from any previous classes, but they had yet to ingrain themselves in her memory. Time to see if they could do just that. She'd be more than eager to have anyone of them burn their way in their.
