"Man, I love that this school has goddamn everything under the sun." Yosuke would mutter to himself, once again finding himself in his home away from home, the Eiyuu Workshop. Originally, he'd been content with just working in one of the tech classrooms, but eventually, two things dawned on him. First off, it was real fuckin weird that he was constantly on his own in a classroom. It didnt feel right. The second was that while the classrooms were nice, they were more for....general stuff. Like working on small things, like circuit boards or small quirk stuff, and Yosuke wanted to think bigger than that.
Luckily, UA had turned out to have the greatest garage a man could ask for. It was a little outta the way, to accomodate for its size, but goddamn did this place have everything. There was equipment to work on cars, enough space to build whatever you wanted, if you included the parking lot outside, and a tool box that was more akin to the armoury of the blue collar mechanic. Suffice to say, Yosuke loved the place. Especially since he could hang out here all he wanted and probably not get bothered by anyone. Unsupervised, too. For some reason Eiyuu didnt have anyone to actually handle the tech department, and Yosuke wanted it to stay that way for as long as possible.
He'd only been in here for a week, but he was already making sure everyone knew that this was his turf. He'd moved a couch in close to the benches, so he could take a load off whenever he didnt wanna deal with being in his room, he'd moved a computer into here to help with working on stuff....and also play video games on, should he get bored. Luckily there was already a kitchen in here so he didnt have to move a fridge in too.
Besides the obvious "Improvements" he'd made, the place was also getting a little messy. Atleast, the corner he was usually in. It was filled with a buncha junk, scarp wires, and spare parts out the ass, mostly cause Yosuke was experimenting with things he could make. He was good with Engines, but if what his experience making that collar for Autumn and what Honey had showed him had taught him anything, it was that he REALLY needed to get better when it came to the realm of making stuff for other people.
So, thats exactly what he was doing. Along with all the spares, there were a bunch of unfinished prototypes of stuff, some of it functional, some of it not. For example, there was a few devices that looked like it was meant for channeling things into projectiles, stuff that looked like it would help mobility, some pop out shields, Helmets, you name it, he'd probably tried making it. It was astounding how quickly a teenager could come up with an idea, try it, toss it cause it turned out the idea wouldnt work, and then repeat the process until it either worked or they got bored.
It wasnt just small stuff either. Yosuke had a couple car engines he'd managed to procur off of a guy he knew, and he was in the process of restoring those too. Though, at the moment, they were just being held up by chains, as Yosuke didnt feel like working on them at the moment. Instead, he was working on his skates. It'd been a while since he did some decent maintainance on them, so he figured it was time to give em a nice clean and tune up. Plus.....he was gettin some ideas on how to improve his ability to generate for his quirk, so it'd be a good idea to see if he could accomodate those into the design.
So, once again, Yosuke find himself leaning over a bench in his chair, goggles over his face as he worked, kinda deaf to the world around him as he was testing how much he could make his tires spin before problems with the frame came into play. Not that it mattered much. After all, it wasnt like anyone was gonna crash into here and invade his turf, right?
